ABOUT ME
I started my career in 1988 in Switzerland, my native country. During my four-year apprenticeship I learnt a variety of different jewellery-making techniques and studied gemstones, metals and design.
After my training, I worked in small studios to perfect my craftsmanship. One of these jobs led me to Canada.
Falling in love with Montréal, I decided to stay, and started doing more and more of my own designs and commissions. I am now represented by these Canadian fine jewellery galleries and participate on a regular basis in shows. However, you can always contact me
MY WORK
Most of my pieces are one-of-a-kind, constructed in precious metals such as 18kt gold, sterling silver, or a mix of both materials. At times I add gemstones as an accent.
The shapes of my designs are simple and often geometric. One line might split a surface in two parts to give it tension. The mix of different textures plays an important role; polished areas interchange with matte surfaces.
Much work and attention goes into the finish of each piece.
